THANK YOU FOR YOUR RECENT INQUIRY ABOUT STORYTIME AMERICAN STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIERS.

A $200 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO HOLD A PUPPY. DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE ONCE THE PUPS ARE 6 WEEKS OF AGE. ALL DOGS PURCHASED FROM ME ARE GUARENTEED FOR 5 DAYS ONCE THEY ARE PICKED UP, AND CAN BE RETURNED FOR ANY REASON DURING THAT TIME. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS TO GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND IF THE PUPPY IS RETURNED IN THE FIRST 5 DAYS. IF YOU THERE IS A HEALTH PROBLEM THE PUPPY MUST BE RETURNED TO ME AT YOUR EXPENSE. I DO NOT PAY VET BILLS.

IF YOU PURCHASE A PET PUPPY FROM ME THEY ARE USUALLY PRICED FROM $500 TO $800. The exception to this price is a puppy I consider a show prospect and deduct some off the show price since you are willing to spay/neuter it. All pet puppies come with unbreedable AKC papers. Unbreedable AKC papers means that no OFFSPRING OUT OF THAT PARTICULAR DOG IS NOT REGISTERABLE. EVERYONE BUYING A PET QUALITY PUPPY WILL BE REQUIRED TO SPAY/NEUTER IT AND WILL SIGN A CONTRACT STATING THAT THEY AGREE TO THIS.

BREEDABLE PUPPIES ARE USUALLY PRICED FROM $1500 up. I consider breedable puppies to be those with no faults that would keep them from being shown.

PUPPIES THAT ARE GUARENTEED TO BE SHOW QUALITY ARE PRICED FROM $1500 AND UP. Adults and older puppies are priced according to their quality and the amount of training and showing I have in them. If they are an AKC champion and/or OFA certified for hips and heart, their price would start at $4000 and go up depending on the quality of the dog.

When you buy a pet puppy from STORYTIME, I guarantee that puppy's health for five days. I do not pay vet bills for any reason, so call me if your puppy gets sick and make arrangements with me before you make any decisions. Most of the time I can take care of minor problems without it costing a big vet bill. Remember, I have been breeding a long time and have accumulated a lot of knowledge in that period of time. If a puppy has a hereditary health problem that affects its health I will replace it. If, at that time, you want to keep the puppy, you would have to prove you had spayed/neutered it to receive your replacement puppy. You are responsible for any costs in getting your replacement puppy to you, i.e. shipping, crate, or health certificate. MONEY IS NEVER REFUNDED ON A PUPPY AFTER THE 5 DAYS.

ALL SHOW/BREEDABLE PUPPIES WILL BE CO-OWNED BY SELLERS UNTIL THEY HAVE PASSED THIER CARDIAC TESTING AT A YEAR AND OFA HIP TESTING AT 2 YEARS OF AGE. WE ARE DOING THIS TO INSURE THEY ARE TESTED BEFORE THEY ARE BRED. When you buy a show quality puppy from me, priced as quoted above, I guarantee that puppy, with proper care and feeding and training, will grow up good enough to get its AKC championship in a reasonable amount of shows. This is with either you or I showing it. I have found that some owners can not show well enough to champion a best in show dog so, if you can't get its championship I reserve the right to try myself before agreeing it is not show quality. If I show it for you, you only have to pay the entries, the cost of feeding it, and the costs getting it to me and back to you.

If your puppy does not turn out to be show quality, OR DOES NOT PASS THE HEALTH TESTING, I will replace it with another puppy. In order to get your replacement puppy you must, not have bred the first dog, and if you are going to keep it, it must be spayed/neutered. As above, you would be liable for the cost of getting the new puppy to you and if you decide to return the first puppy the cost of returning it is yours also, unless we agree on other terms. I guarantee my show puppies will OFA certify for hips and heart with the same replacement policy.
